Celebrating the End of Term 3 – A Term of Growth, Challenges and Achievement

As we reach the end of another busy and meaningful term at Aspeling Academic Hub, we would like to take a moment to reflect on Term 3 and celebrate the achievements, growth and perseverance of our learners, staff, and school community.

Term 3 has certainly been a term filled with activity. From settling into our new home in Plumstead, to completing assignments, projects, assessments and examinations, our learners have once again shown us what can be achieved through commitment, perseverance and hard work.

Celebrating Four Years of Aspeling

This term was also particularly special as we celebrated the 4th birthday of Aspeling Academic Hub.

Four years ago, this journey began with a vision to create an educational environment where learners could receive quality education while being known, supported and valued as individuals.

Four years later, we can look back with gratitude at how far we have come.

There have been challenges, changes, difficult decisions and many moments that have tested us, but there have also been countless achievements, wonderful memories and opportunities to see our learners grow.

Reaching four years is more than simply celebrating a birthday. It is a celebration of the learners who have walked through our doors, the families who have trusted us with their children, and the teachers and staff members who have contributed to the journey.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the Aspeling story over the past four years.

A New Chapter in Plumstead

One of the biggest changes for Aspeling Academic Hub this year has been our move to our new home in Plumstead. This has been an important step in the growth and development of our school.

Our new premises provide us with an opportunity to continue building a school environment that reflects our vision — a place where learners can feel supported, valued and encouraged to reach their potential.

Moving to a new premises comes with its own challenges, but it has also brought new opportunities. As we celebrate four years of Aspeling, we are excited to begin this next chapter in our permanent home in Plumstead.

Celebrating Our Learners

To all our learners — well done!

Term 3 has required commitment, especially as many of our learners have been completing major assessments and examinations. Our Grade 7–9 learners have worked through their examination period, while our Grade 10–12 learners have continued with their academic responsibilities and preparations.

We know that examinations can be demanding, but they are also an important part of the learning journey. They teach our learners not only about their subjects, but also about preparation, responsibility, discipline and perseverance.

We are proud of every learner who continued to give their best.

A school cannot operate successfully without a strong partnership between the school and home. Your encouragement, communication and involvement make a meaningful difference in the lives of our learners.

From Eight Learners to a Growing School

  Three years ago, our school began with a simple but powerful dream. We started small — just 8 learners and 2 teachers — driven by faith, determination, and the belief that something meaningful could grow from humble beginnings. Today, as we look back, we are filled with gratitude and awe. In just three short years, we have grown to over 60 learners . With this rapid growth came challenges that required us to learn quickly — not only academically, but administratively, financially, and structurally.   Wow… What a Year! As we reach the final stretch of 2025, we can’t help but pause, breathe, and take in everything we’ve been through. Tired? Yes. Drained? Absolutely. But overwhelmingly… grateful. This year came with more than its fair share of madness, challenges, and unexpected turns — yet here we are. We pulled through. First and foremost, we give thanks to God for guiding us and allowing us to cross one of our biggest milestones yet: We officially moved onto our own school grounds.
